Rey Turns 2!
Our girl turned 2! I really can’t believe just how fast she is growing up. Time needs to slow down.
This year’s theme was “What Does the Fox Say”. It was such a fun theme! Rey heard this song for the first time (also my first time) last year and she LOVES this song! She can’t stop dancing or laughing when we play it.
The Invitation.
Let’s talk cake. Delicious sugary chocolate cake. We’ve been that family that has not allowed sugar. And by ‘we’, I mean this has totally been my thing. Dad has a sweet tooth. So, for this birthday, I was ready to bring on the sugar and bought this cake. Rey had no interest. None. Not even the frosting could tempt her. Of course, when you won’t even try it, you have absolutely no idea what you’re missing. I have no doubt, she will figure it out soon enough.
Party favors, fox masks, coloring pages, and a fox craft! I had so much fun with all the details.
My husband made these amazing cookies. He spent about 14 hours making these!!! Yeap, never happening again. Unless of course Rey requests a Star Wars party. In that case, R2D2 cookies will have to happen. 😉
And the dress made by me. It’ll also make a perfect dress for Thanksgiving.
